I will admit it..ever since I decided to embrace my natural curls, Wash and Go hair styles have been my savior from this Georgia heat. I have tried several brands that help me achieve this look so I was super pumped when Ouidad (pronounced ) sent me three of their most popular products to review: Curl Quencher Moisturizing Shampoo, Curl Quencher Moisturizing Conditioner and CLimate Control Heat and Humidity Gel. Today I am going to highlight the Climate Control Heat and Humidity Gel because if anyone has traveled to Georgia in this heat, humidity is not kind to my curls.
1. Ouidad Climate Control–Heat & Humidity Gel. (8.5 fl oz) This product claims to control frizz in ALL climates by the wheat protein found in the product that protects the hair shaft and by allowing it to “breathe” in humidty.
Ingredients:Water, Provitamin B5, Wheat Protein, etc.
Reaction: At first I did not read the directions to this product and my wash and go did not go well. A week later I decided to try it again(and read the directions) and guess what?? My hair came out great! The method described on the bottle is the “rake method” where you take your hair in sections and apply the product in a systematic way. I found this product easier to wash out when using the shampoo and conditioner mentioned above. I would caution that after having this product in your hair for two to three days, co wash your hair and reapply for that fresh look. Here are some other things I noticed when using the product:
Would I recommend: Yes, it is an alternative to heavier gels that take forever to wash out and leaves a horrible buildup on your hair.

Overall Reaction:
This product line is great for someone who is (of course) naturally curly and loves to wear their hair eaither curly or straightened out. I like how the directions are detailed, this helps people apply the product correctly for future use!
