All last month, I ran, started back Insanity and ate 80% clean. So I should have of lost a ton of weight…NEGATIVE. I gained 4 pounds ( I’m hoping it’s muscle). I got on the scale and feel like this.
I almost resorted back to eating a whole box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch but I have to remember a fitness quote I saw on Tumblr.
While I like to see results ASAP, I have to remember that it takes time but I do have to “own up” to my own eating fails– snacking is killing my progress. Instead of me snacking on this ALL the time…
I may cheat and snack on this (they are organic but still)…
It doesn’t look like a big deal but check this out. I plan to have 1 cookie but that quickly turns in to 5 cookies. If the cookies are 100 calories each, I’ve just added 500 calories to my intake and within a week I’ve gained 5 pounds. ((Sigh))
So in an attempt to reign back in my snacking, I’ve thrown away every processed snack in the house (all while getting the side eye from my husband) and I am VOWING to stay in the game. I am exercising enough BUT I HAVE TO GET THIS EATING UNDER CONTROL. As a result of my snacking I’ve noticed that my skin is starting to break out. So for the next 8 weeks, I have vowed NO MORE PROCESSED SNACKS, up my water intake AND I am going to do meal replacements at least once a day with either juicing or meal replacement smoothies. I am also going to post a lot more about my daily battles with working out and eating–because this weight loss journey is no joke. I’ve already lost a considerable amount of weight but unless I “reign in” this snacking all of my goals will be GONE. I’ve worked to hard to let some cookies (as good as they are) get in my way..

No snacking that's my biggest problems and the double stuff oreo's always gets me. You are still doing good keep up the good work.
when i overhauled my diet, i had the WORST cravings. however, to curb those, i ate trail mix (bleh) and made fresh berry smoothies which helped a LOT.
good luck on your fitness challenge; it's tough but keep it up!
