Anyone who has followed this blog knows one thing about me–I love to eat and cook! I’m always searching for new recipes to try or looking for a way to spice up a current recipe of mine. Every night I literally spend hours thinking about what to cook the next day. I have to consider healthy, tasty and easy-to-cook recipes to add them to my database.
Most times I use the Internet or a cookbook to give me a basis– needless to say I needed something easier to plan my family’s needs.
Luckily, I was introduced to a new website for bloggers: ConAgra’s “The Dish“. The Dish is awesome because it’s designed for bloggers who love to cook — like me (and you)!
The site is super easy to navigate and has five sections : Seasonal Spotlight, Recipe Resources, Ask Our Team, Expert Section and First Look, First Taste Sections.
First Look, First Taste is a great resource for bloggers looking to try new recipes. It’s an exclusive area of the site, but all you need to sign up is a website (like a blog!) You can find coupons and even request samples of items to use and review on your blog.
Out of all of the sections I’m most obsessed with the recipe resources . This section allows me to make tasty meals that are new to my family’s palette. Recently we tried the Barbeque Turkey Burgers (yummy), and they were a hit to my entire family! They were not only tasty but nutritious enough for me not to have to run off any unnecessary calories! It was so good I’m going to feature the recipe on my blog in the near future.
Unlike other sites, “The Dish” is really easy to navigate, has more information about the nutrition in the products and actually gives us expert opinions on cooking and entertaining. I can navigate my search for recipes by if I have “picky eaters” in the house, “healthy eating” and even by the number of people in the household!
If I have a question, there is a section named “Cook’s Tips” that gives valuable information about preparing the dish. This site is awesome and so easy to use that I recommend everyone to go ahead and sign up for the service and try some of their recipes!

When I clicked on "Seasonal Spotlight", I found a link for "Easy Recipes" under the column that says "Browse Articles by Tags". This is going to be the most useful for me because my daughter will be starting Pre-K next week and I desperately need some quick dinner ideas. I also saw a recipe for a Greek Pasta that looks easy-peezy!!! -Alicia Robertson
