I’m the type of woman who literally swoons anytime I buy new undergarments. I love when I find good fitting (and reasonably priced) garments without driving 30 miles out of the way. Well, you can imagine my surprise when I was given the opportunity to review the Modern Coverage bra and IlluminationÆ panty collections from Vanity FairÆ. When I tore open the package I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful hues and silky fabrics. Any time I get new undergarments I like to read over the labels and see where I can wear the garments and still feel comfortable. Well, with these two lines, I had absolutely NO problems wearing.
The first thing I tried on came from the Vanity FairÆ Modern Coverage Collection, which was designed to feature less cup coverage than the traditional full coverage bras. The Vanity FairÆ Advanced Support Underwire Bra was the first bra out of the collection that I tried and fell in love with. The bra had a lower neckline but was invisible under my clothes. It was so comfortable I was able to wear it under a T-shirt and still feel at ease. The bra retails for $34 and can be found at fine retailers like Macy’s. The next product was the Vanity FairÆ Look Lifted Underwire Bra, which was also super comfortable and had gorgeous smooth lace detailing that made me fall in love on my first wear. This product is available at Kohl’s for $34. The next product I tried was the Vanity FairÆ Front Close Underwire Bra. I love wearing this bra with summertime tops. This bra features a j-hook strap that works well with my racerback tops. In addition, somehow they managed to make this super sleek and sophisticated by adding a rhinestone-clad clasp that any woman can appreciate.
Now to get to the panties that I reviewed. I am very particular about what types of bottoms I wear. I love a fabric that is sleek and smooth and actually feels good on my skin. The IlluminationÆ String Bikini was excellent on days that I worked out (and every day that I wore it) because it offers medium coverage and does not ride up. An added bonus is that this panty comes in beautiful colors that can be worn on any occasion. This product retails at Kohl’s for $9.50 for one and three for $21– excellent prices that won’t break the bank!
