I’ve gotten a ton of emails, Facebook messages and Tweets asking how I’m doing on my LOOOONG weight loss journey. I can gladly tell you I’ve FINALLY gotten my ‘mind right’ and I’m back on the living healthy bandwagon. That’s right, I’m lifting weights, running and going to the gym on a daily basis. More importantly than working out, I’ve been faithfully watching what I eat. But before I get into that let me catch you guys up on all of the things happening on BossyGirl’s (me) life.
1. Squatting- My butt is pretty big- not video girl big but big enough. In an attempt to tone my legs and but further, I’ve decided to participate in this squat-a-thon. Yes, I’ve woken up with my legs on FIRE! But I keep on squatting because that’s what I do.
2. I’m still on my 12oo calorie restriction and I’m trying to eat clean at least 80% of the time. I’m not going to stress myself out if I have a cookie but I’m taking those times where I eat the whole pack of cookies. I’m researching new recipes so I won’t get bored. Instead of weighing myself daily, I’m going to only weigh myself weekly. The scale is locked inside my closet during the week.
3. I’ve came back with my love/hate relationship with running. My furthest distance has been 6 miles but I have a goal of 100 miles by December 31st. I hate running but I love running. So I’m back at it- three times a week. I’m not training for anything but I want to build myself up to being able to run 10 miles a week so I can stay ready.
